Payers
Understanding the Payers directory and how payers are used in TruePay.
The Payers tab in TruePay is a read-only reference directory of insurance payers available in the Ailevate platform. It is used when creating or editing contracts to look up payer names and IDs.
Payer Directory
The directory lists 3,500+ payers. Each row shows:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Payer | The payer name and logo (where available), along with the payer's abbreviation code |
| Payer ID | The unique identifier used for claims processing and EDI transactions |
Use the Search bar to find a specific payer by name.
Using Payers in Contracts
When creating a contract, you select the payer from this directory. The payer and its ID are associated with the contract and used by the AI when matching incoming claims to the correct contract rates.
The payer directory is managed by Ailevate. Organizations cannot add custom payers at this time.
